Getting Started ⭐︎ For 25 wipes, use cold water to fill your ‘Fresh Wipes’ container to approx. 3cm from the top and then add 4 – 5 drops of the ‘Fresh Wipes’ essential oil blend. Pop your lovely soft cloth baby wipes into the ‘Fresh Wipes’ container, then turn the pile of wipes over a couple of times and once they have soaked up all the water…hey presto they’re ready to use! You can then tip out any excess water so they aren't sitting in it. ⭐︎ Prepare your ‘Mucky Wipes’ container by filling with water to the fill level marked, then add 3 – 4 drops of the ‘Mucky Wipes’ essential oil blend to keep those mucky baby wipes sweet. Use the wipes for cleaning bums, faces, hands, whatever needs cleaning! Once you’ve used the wipes, place them inside the clever mesh wash bag in the ‘Mucky Wipes’ container. This saves you having to touch those mucky things again. ⭐︎ No extra washing…or drying required! Your mesh bag of mucky baby wipes can go straight into the washing machine (30 – 60 degree wash is fine!) with your next load of washing – your baby wipes come out spankingly clean. Washing at 60c once a week (with your towels or bedding for example) or occasionally using an anti-bacterial washing solution will help keep them in tip-top condition. ⭐︎ No need to dry them if you're in a hurry, just place them back in the ‘Fresh Wipes’ box with some fresh essential oil solution. However getting them out on the washing line helps keep them hygienic too! ⭐︎ Travelling or just popping out for a play date? Just pop some clean damp baby wipes into your waterproof ‘Fresh Wipes’ bag and off you go! After use, drop the mucky baby wipes into the mesh insert in the ‘Mucky Wipes’ bag. Back home, throw them into the wash in the mesh bag with a normal load. The outer bag can then be wiped clean with a wipe and some tea tree oil and then hang inside out to dry

Essential Oil Safety |
Knowing what you are using on your skin and your baby's skin is of utmost importance. However, essential oils are a chemical (albeit a natural one) so it is really important that they are produced to rigorous standards and used safely. Essential Oil Safety Newborn to 6 weeks NICE (the clinical excellence guidelines followed by midwives) recommend that only water is used to cleanse your baby during the first 6 weeks of their life which is why they recommend cotton wool and water. Cheeky Wipes can still be used during this timeframe, using water only in the fresh box but it is recommended that only as many as will be used in a day are soaked (10 at a time for example), keeping the remainder dry. The mucky oil should still be used as it is not used on baby's skin and is washed away. Personally, Cheeky Wipes used the wipes with the lavender oil from birth with no ill effects, but we understand that the Clinical Excellence Guidelines are there for a reason. 6 weeks and above For every 25 wipes, fill the fresh box to approx 3cm from the top and then add 4 or 5 drops of oil. Swish the oil around in the box to distribute it before adding the wipes. Once the wipes are in, give them a good squeeze together to manually distribute the oil throughout the fresh wipes. It is possible to have an allergic reaction to any commonly used essential oil. This type of reaction is difficult to predict and rarely occurs but is a possibility. If an allergic reaction is suspected, or your child experiences redness or irritation, switch to using just water on your fresh wipes (again, only soaking as many as you will use in a day). Other oils can be tried. The mucky box should be filled 3/4 full, with 4 or 5 drops of the mucky oil blend added. General Safety Precautions 1. Keep all essential oils out of reach of children and pets. 2. Essential oils are highly flammable substances and should be kept away from direct contact with flames, such as candles, fire, matches, cigarettes, and gas cookers. 3. Do not use essential oils internally. 4. If essential oil droplets accidentally get into the eye (or eyes) a cotton cloth or similar should be imbued with a fatty oil, such as olive or sesame, and carefully swiped over the closed lid. And / Or, Immediately flush the eyes with cool water. 5. If a child appears to have drunk several spoonfuls of essential oil, contact the nearest poison control unit (often listed in the front of a telephone directory). Keep the bottle for identification and encourage the child to drink whole or 2% milk. Do not try to induce vomiting. Essential Oil Quality Cheeky Wipes' oils are produced for Cheeky Wipes by a company which has been operating for 18 years, where Quality Control is of utmost importance and meticulous testing is carried out for every product in the range. Their commitment to quality is coordinated by their in-house aromatherapist, chief chemist and quality control chemist. The most rigorous processes are implemented to determine the purity and potency of sourced oils which ensures pure, authentic and genuine essential oils.

So much better than regular wipes. Also helped to clear my boys nappy rash

I absolutely love my cheeky wipes, so much so I’ve brought another set. So I’ll have a set for upstairs and a set for downstairs. Fantastic product, and so glad I changed to reusable wipes

Brilliant product, even my sceptical husband has been won over. We have been using the wipes with water for our newborn and a lot more practical to use than cotton wool. Looking forward to using the whole kit and caboodle instead of wipes when baby is a teensy bit older.

The baby is due in a couple of weeks time so I’ve not used this product yet but it all looks good.

Of course you could make your own; however, it’s just convenient to be able to find a set that covers everything, from the cloths to the mucky bags and the solutions. The solutions smell great and it is definitely unmissable even though they remain securely locked.
I must also recognise the customer service and how they are responsive in supporting parents deciding to do cloth wipes – the advice on washing routine is certainly helpful and learning how to deal with pooped cloths!
